- Distance & Type: A 2.1-mile out-and-back single-track trail that takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
- Elevation Gain: An 820-foot ascent that starts with a quick climb and saves its steepest, most challenging section for the final quarter-mile near the top.
- Scenic Payoffs: Sweeping, bird’s-eye views of the valley, passing trains, and vibrant wildflowers in the summer or blazing foliage during the autumn months.
- Historic Ruins: The upper portion follows an old mining trail where you can pass the remnants of an old shack and a historic mine cart rail.
