Paris Ice Cave

Paris Ice Cave stays cold, and its ice never fully melts. Cold water seeps in from a hill brook and freezes. The cave opens around mid-July when the water dries up.

Visiting Tips

  • Best time to go: Visit around mid-July or later.
  • Bring a jacket: The cave stays cold.
  • Bring a flashlight: You will need light to see inside.
  • Access Drive: 8 to 10 miles on dirt road. High clearance vehicle such as an ATV, UTV, SUV or truck are recommended.
